Value is the core of Nota Bene. You will not find shoes more comfortable and beautiful for less. And certainly, you will find many shoes that are less comfortable or attractive — or both — for more.
Value every day is also a core of Nota Bene. We do not mark up to mark down. We do not manufacture shoes for sales or discount retailers. We have a straightforward approach to marketing that smart, savvy, and time-starved women appreciate: good value every day, no games. For that reason and because our shoes are trans-seasonal, we rarely put shoes on sale.
However, if you are looking for a less expensive
way to wear a pair, we are looking for wear-testers, and will offer the
shoes we are testing at a discount. Here is the scoop:
Wear testing begins after you think you’ve got a pretty good
fitting shoe. Then you assess how well that comfortable feeling holds
up over time and distance.
Specifically, what wear testers do:
1. Purchase - at a $50 to $100 discount - a pair of shoes to test (or pairs
if you want... the only limit is your tolerance for surveys and providing
comments). If after trying on the shoes, you either have the wrong
size, or don’t think that it will ever be a good fit, you can return
them at our cost.
2. Answer two online surveys with honest and thoughtful comments. One
will focus on the “break in” period. The other will follow
up 3 months after you have been wearing them. We would also love
to hear from you in a year and then again in two, to tell us how they have
worn over time. (We think you’ll be thrilled.)
