Value is core to Nota Bene. We make an incredible product: they are beautiful, they feel comfortable, the materials and construction are quality, and the shoes last. Comparable shoes cost $400-$500; many brands seek to make their products exclusive. We keep our overhead and non-shoe costs low, so the shoes are more accessible. We designed them to complement a range of styles — from jeans, skirts, trousers, or suits — across seasons for several years.
For many women, $250 for a pair of shoes is too expensive, but consider the average woman’s closet: 20-30 pairs of shoes on the floor purchased at an average of $100 each — and only 1 or 2 pairs are comfortable. That means they’re spending $1000-$1500 for a pair of “go-to,” trustworthy shoes.
